Abstract
In this study, 1O patients with Buerger's disease (TAO) and patients and 7 patients with atherosclerosis obliterans (ASO) asa control group were studied for the evaluation of microvascular disturbance in TAO. After 1 minute exercise, 37 MBq TL-201 was injected intraarterially and anterior planar images of feed and whole body images of lower extre mities were obtained. Sama procedure was repeated after ene week using 185 MBq Tc-99 m MAA (macroaggregated albumin). Rectangular region of interests (ROi) were drawn on TL-201 and Tc-99 m-MAA images, and TL-201/Tc-99 m-MAA uptake ratios were calculated.
TL-201/Tc-99 m-MAA ratios of toes of TAO cases were lower than those of ASO cases (p< 0.05), whereas no sig nificant difference was found far lower limbs and feet. This findings may be explained by the disturbances of microvas- cular regulation in TAO. •
