A Different Approach To Teaching Binomial Expansion

Abstract
Pascal Triangle and Binomial Expansion which have so many applications and an important place in teaching Algebra are the subjects of the mathematics program in the eighth grade of primary education. Generally, Pascal Triangle are given only one special feature in the textbooks and by the help of this triangle, the Binomial Expansion is defined. But, in this traditional presentation, expressions and concepts generally cannot be learned enough by the students and treated like a simple memorization. In this study, teaching of Pascal Triangle and Binomial Expansion given through telling a story with a scenario method. The purpose, students should learn this subject not with memorizing approach but with the concrete thinking.
