In this research values emphasized in 100 primary works, recommended by Ministry Of Education for primary schools, were examined. Qualitative research methodology was used in the study. The data for the study is the "100 Primary Works" recommended by the Ministry of Education for elementary schools. The group for the study is a total of twenty-one (21) books out of the "100 Primary Works" including twelve (12) local and (9) foreign writers. Those books, which were grouped according to numbers of pages, were chosen by maximum diversity sampling method. The values in the domestic and foreign authored books that make up the sample were analyzed and the results of analysis examined the values in domestic and foreign authored books. The most common values in the domestic and foreign authored books were found as love, charity, respect, aesthetics, friendship, compassion, courage, hope, and the importance of being successful. The least common values were observed as protecting the fiduciary, self-sacrifice, consultation, manners, paying attention to being healthy, prudence, and openness to innovation, being ethical, and love of nature, equality, tolerance and consciousness of national unity, moderation, simplicity and elegance. In this study, because the works that were selected according to certain criteria were examined, the current study results must be evaluated based on the fact that values in other books were unreviewed.
