In the last two decades globalism has caused a rooted a new appraise in the international economy and communication areas. After the Second World War, social needs and relations were explained with development models. In the same way also recent relations are tried to be explained by global development understanding. In this study, similarities between global economy and development models were examined and each paradigm is semtinised with a critica! approach. Mass Media models play a big part in putting forward the renewed development approaches.
