Abstract

Medical students first meet with the human body and organs, especially the phenomenon of death in anatomy lectures at the first time in their life. In this perspective, anatomy lectures make the students feel that they are being educated in a medical faculty. Besides, the students have to learn a new language “Latin” which makes anatomy more difficult to understand for them. The examination style of anatomy is unprecedented in which the student has to run from a desk to another at each ringing bell. Anatomy takes its place as a hard lesson for students but for the future time, it ensures bitter-sweet and dissimilar memories and unforgettable emotions. The purpose of this study was to present the memories of physicians who are now specialists or academician, and to remind the previous memories of the readers about the anatomy lectures. It is hoped that reading this manuscript would remind the readers the past and make a smile by bringing the memories of the anatomy lectures and examinations to mind.
