Abstract
A five-year-old girl with infantile idiopathic scoliosis underwent convex posterior arthrodesis supplemented with transpedicular convex anterior hemiepiphysiodesis. The preoperative curve was 65 degrees. There was King type IV curve and apex T12. The hemiepiphysiodesis and posterior arthrodesis was performed between T8 and L3 vertebrae. This is the first case treated by this method in Turkey. [Journal of Turgut Özal Medical Center 1(1):47-49,1994]
