Long QT syndrome is a rare cardiac defect characterised by syncope, life threatening tachyarrhytmias and sudden
death. Although long QT syndrome has mostly been reported among adults, there are children presenting with
this syndrome as well. We report a newborn baby presenting with long QT on electrocardiography and having
polymorphic tachyarrhytmia causing death of the case.
