We report a Warthin-like thyroid carcinoma as a rare variety of thyroid carcinoma. It is 3 cm in diameter, capsulated with a partly cystic-nodular pattern. There are oncocytic cells and cells morphologically belonging to papillary thyroid carcinoma in the large area covering a papillary pattern microscopically. There is dense lymphocyte rich stroma and a lymphocytic thyroiditis appearance outside the tumor nodule. In recent studies, it has been accepted as a variant of papillary carcinoma. In our case we attempted to determine the specifications of the tumour by using low and high molecular weight cytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen, HMB -45, S-100, T and B lymphocyte markers. Tumor cells were positively stained with low and high weight cytokeratins and EMA. Differential diagnosis of the lesion from tall cell variant of thyroid carcinoma can be done by histopathological features. For the oxyphilic variant lymphoid infiltration is an uncommon feature. In literature, it was speculated that Warthin-like papillary thyroid carcinoma had a good prognosis. Therefore, So that, the differentiation of Warthin-like papillary carcinoma from those of the two variants, which have bad prognosis, has a great importance.
