Evaluation of sexual assaults in Elazığ, during 1990-1992

Abstract
On fifty five sexual assult cases, the finding wav that of victims 92.7% female, average age wav 15.5. The cases seen were 55% of hymen, 29% of pregnancy, 9.1 % of anal intercourse. " % of hymen and anal intercourse. Hymenal defloration wav not seen on 40 % of these cases. The ruptures around six were mostly seen in the cases of hymenal defloration. Nearly all of sexual assault cases (90.9 %) were taken by the State Hospital. [Journal of Turgut Özal Medical Center I(4):285-28'7,1994]
