Review ofstreptokinase treatment on deep venous thrombosis: because ofa case

Abstract


 

Streptokinase may cause fathal hemorrhagic complications without releating the dose if it is used for treatment ofdeep venous thrombosis.

Fatal hemorrhagic complication was developed in a patient with deep venous thrombosis in our clinic during the first hours of streptokinase treatment. Because of this case ; we aimed to discuss the medical therapy ofdeep venous thrombosis.
