The comparison of the outcome offine needle aspiration biopsy and needle biopsy accompanied by transrectal prostate ultrasonography in the diagnosis of prostate carcinoma
In this study, sixty patients who suspected of prostat carcinoma received a fine needle aspiration biopsy and needle biopsy in accompany of ultrasongraphy, during digital rectal examination (DRE), prostat spesific antigen values or transsectional prostat ultrasonography. Subsequently, posteferatif prostate materials have examined taken from M>hole cases and histologic property of needle aspiration biopsy (İİAB), needle biopsi and operation materials compared. In our results, the sensitivity of aspiration biopsy found as 100%, spesificity 95%; Although, needle biopsy sensitivity detected as 90% and specificity 100%.
