Objective: To explore the risk of development of stress in university students.
Methodology: It is a cross-sectional study carried out at Riphah International University Rawalpindi between September 2011 and April 2012 using self-administered questionnaire. A total of 120 under-graduates, 30 students from each profession were selected by purposive sampling. Data was analyzed through SPSS 21.
Results: There was severe risk of stress was present in the students of Engineering, DPT, Media sciences and then MBBS.
Conclusion: Medical students have least risk of stress as compared to other disciplines.
