Influence of the parenting group support model through the emesis self-assessment application education on the level of stress and gravidarum emesis in pregnant women

Objective: This study aimed to determine the influence of a parenting support group model through education on the emesis application and self-assessment on the level of stress and nausea, and vomiting in pregnant mothers.
Methodology: In this quasi-experimental study, with a pre-posttest design the respondents were given an intervention of a parenting support group with education on the emesis application and self-assessment book, and then the level of stress and nausea and vomiting were measured.
Results: We found that the level of stress, nausea, and vomiting in pregnant mothers was significantly different before and following the education provided by the parenting support group.
Conclusions: Parenting support group through education on the Emesis Self-Assessment application can be considered as a prevention measure for complications caused by nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. It can be considered as one of the alternative programs for decision-makers in the implementation of services for pregnant mothers.
