The insurance sector plays an important role in risk transfer, the provision of long-term funding, and the maintenance of financial stability; however, it is also affected by inflationary environments and various macroeconomic conditions. In Türkiye, the volatile behavior of inflation together with other macroeconomic factors necessitates an empirical analysis of the impact of these conditions on insurance premiums. For this purpose, the theoretical section of the study presents a literature review of national and international studies related to the subject, while the empirical analysis employs the ARDL bounds testing approach and the Toda–Yamamoto causality test. The findings confirm the existence of a statistically significant long-run cointegration relationship among the variables.
