We report on 2 patients who presented to the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) clinic. Clinical examination demostrated tongue deviation towards the left side, without other neurological symptoms. Imaging studies, Neck CT and MR angiograms, revealed intramural haematoma, thickening and stenosis of the right distal extracranial internal carotid artery (ICA) consistent with spontaneous dissection.
