Fitz Hugh Curtis syndrome is described as the ascending infiltraiton of the pelvic infection affecting liver and diaphragm usually involving salpengitis. The incidence of FHC may vary according to criteria used in diagnosis. Perihepatic adhesions may be observed during laparoscopy in patients without any symptoms or on the contrary there can be no visible adhesions in patients with active PID.
