Abstract

The authors report a case of bilateral divergent coxofemoral traumatic dislocation in a 25-year-old patient treated at the Niamey National Hospital. Clinical examination revealed pain in both hips, a vicious posture in the right and left hip, suggesting an anterior obturator dislocation and a posterior iliac dislocation, respectively. The x-ray confirmed the diagnosis of the anterior obturator and posterior iliac dislocation. The patient underwent orthopaedic reduction, bonded traction and functional rehabilitation. He has fully recovered the function of his pelvic limbs.

RÉSUMÉ
Les auteurs rapportent un cas de luxation traumatique coxo-fémorale bilatérale divergente chez un patient âgé de 25 ans pris en charge à l’Hôpital National de Niamey. L’examen clinique a objectivé une douleur au niveau des deux hanches, une attitude vicieuse à la hanche droite et gauche faisant évoquer respectivement une luxation antérieure obturatrice et une luxation postérieure iliaque. La radiographie a confirmé le diagnostic de luxation antérieure obturatrice et postérieure iliaque. Le patient a bénéficié d’une réduction orthopédique, d’une traction collée et d’une rééducation fonctionnelle. Il a récupéré complètement la fonction de ses membres pelviens.
