A family of novel 1,2,3-triazoles 3-7 were prepared by one pot reaction of 1,2,3-triazol-4-carbohydazides 1 with different reagents such as
hydrazonoyl chlorides and methyl ketones. The novel compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. The results of
antimicrobial screening showed that, compound 5 has the highest inhibitory effects on the growth of a wide range of the tested microbes
due to the presence of sulphonyl moiety in its structure.
