Case Report



A Malaria Case with Serious Icterus

Abstract

Malaria has frequently been seen in the East Mediterranean and Southeast Anatolia and rarely seen in other regions. Both in the world and Turkey the most seen agent is Plasmodium vivax. Malaria is the fifth infection in the world that leads to death. Associated with travel Plasmodium falciparum and also P.vivax cases have been seen more and more often. An importe P.vivax case is presented in this article.
