This case report gives the details of a 46-year-old female, who developed a rare & severe side effect unilateral left sided corneal melt with the use of Nepafenac 0.1% eyedrops, which had been chronically used in both the eyes by her for retinitis pigmentosa. Prolonged use of Nepafenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug or the altered pH of the eyedrops can be the contributing factors for such severe side effect.
