In recent years, regardless of the diagnostic categories instead of disorder-specific approaches, the primary aspects of comorbidity among the prominent aspects of the transdiagnostic approach (TA), which advocates targeting these processes in treatment and identifying common processes underlying psychopathological signs and symptoms is important to solve the dilemma that will be treated as an subthreshold symptoms in order to offer treatment to people who do not fully meet any diagnosis.
Although there are many research articles on what are the transdiagnostic processes and the effectiveness of the TA, assessment tools that can be used to evaluate these processes collectively are limited to the Cognitive Behavioral Processes Questionnaire (CBPQ). Before this scale came into use, researchers tried to identify common processes with different methods. CBPQ was developed by Patel et al. as a self-report scale that allows to question the core processes previously defined in the literature, in line with the problematic areas that people face, based on the cognitive behavioral theory.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of CBPQ.
