Gingival enlargement associated with periodontal destruction and iron deficiency anemia

Inflammatory gingival enlargement is a common feature of the gingival disease in which the gingiva presents the change in volume with hyperplasia. A wide range of medications, systemic and genetic diseases have been linked to the occurrence of gingival overgrowth. The treatment plan consists of curing iron deficiency anaemia, scaling and root planing, oral hygiene instructions and motivation of the patient.
